Three Falls Woods

Three Falls Woods is located at 4618 Sweet Road, Manlius, NY 13104. It is a beautiful place to hike! There are two main trails – the white trail leads to a pond and the blue trail loops the falls, and then there are the other trails that get you completely lost and so the key is to go early in the morning and make sure your phone is charged to GPS your ass out of there. So fun!

  1. Hi Karen,
I am writing to you to let you know that you have brought me and my family tremendous joy with your beautiful owls! October 18th is my birthday and my husband and I were on a hike at Clark’s reservation when we found one of your owls. We were so happy, it was an incredible birthday gift!!! We continued our hike and came upon another owl which was incredibly appreciated because October 18th is also my son’s birthday. I now had an owl to give him. I screeched with delight when I saw it, I scared my husband with my excitement and “oh my god”s!!!!
The past few years we have found over a hundred “kindness” rocks and we have painted and hidden at least a hundred rocks. These rocks are special to me because they represent unconditional kindness. I have no idea what happened to 99% of the rocks I have hidden but I know that they have brought people joy, which is why we paint and hide them.
My “Birthday” owl is in my office and my son’s is in his bedroom. My owl’s name is Oct”whoo”ber. Yesterday I was at my desk and my owl fell over. It made me think of you and I felt badly that I never told you how much joy your hard work at painting these owls has brought us. I went on your website to write to you when I saw that you hid more owls. I told my family, which consists of my husband and two boys. Guess what?!?! We screamed with excitement and decided to head to Three Falls Woods today to owl hunt. We woke up early and headed to Manlius. We found more owls!!!
Thank you Karen, your owls are beautiful! You are a special artist. Some of your artwork lives in our home and will forever be loved and appreciated. Keep spreading kindness, it makes the world a better place!
    With love and gratitude,
    Agnes
