Thanks, Marlene! I had purchased smaller boards but I felt that they didn’t work. They needed to have authentic chalkboards behind them. I feel like we all sort of gravitate to the loves from childhood, hence the game pieces, although the thought behind these paintings is completely mindful and deliberate, and not childish – I mean that is what I am going for. People can interpret my work any way they want.
