The Tashkovski Collection is officially launching on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 from 5 – 8 pm at The Chop House on Waring (200 Waring Road, Syracuse, New York 13224 – (315) 445-1976). The event is called Sip & Sparkle and will include twelve local vendors. They will also have a Wild Turkey bourbon tasting and some appetizers. It is going to be a lot of fun!
I had a poster made and some postcards. The bracelets are photographed, catalogued and tagged. I have a Square reader to process debit/charges. I am ready to be ready (which means ready, I think).

Here are the latest pieces. These leather bracelets feature vintage pins manufactured in Estonia circa the 1970s by a tin toy company called NORMA. I scoured the world looking for them. I’m in love with them! The are handmade, one-of-a-kinders. I know you will fall in love with them too. <3
Hercules Candies has a new location at 720 W. Manlius Street, East Syracuse, New York 13057. (315) 463-4339 www.herculescandy.com. It is next door to Eye Studio and together, along with Guest House, they are offering a weekend holiday sale.
Hercules Candies will have door prizes, tours of the candy factory and free samples. They will be making candy canes by hand!
You can view the kitchen from a large glass window. It is such a wonderful place, expanded tenfold from the little house on a back street in the village. It is truly an experience to shop here – locally made mom and pop shop, like something out of yesteryear.
Their open house will be Saturday, November 17th and Saturday, November 24th, 2018 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Eye Studio and Guest House will be open Saturday, November 17th from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm and Sunday, November 18th from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. It is a Pre-Holiday arts and crafts sale with David McDonald as the featured artist.

This year I made a lot of dreams come true Halloween-wise. I have wanted this Wonder Woman outfit since I saw the movie last year. I scoured the Internet, specifically Amazon.com and found every piece of this costume except the boots. And they were on a ridiculous sale at saksoff5th.com – an additional 30% off the sale price. I love them!
BCBGMaxAzria jacket and pants, Cinq a Sept top, Michelle DaRin jewelry, Calvin Klein booties
My Calvin Klein patent leather booties made three appearances this Halloween, the BCBGMaxAzria cropped pants, two! And that split sleeve jacket worked its way into two costumes as well!

I chaperoned the Halloween dance at school, went to a party at Wildflowers Art Gallery, danced to the disco band Fondu at the Rocky Horror event at The Palace theater and sang karaoke at my friend Jimmy’s annual Halloween bash at his home.

But my favorite dream, even more amazing than being Wonder Woman for a day, was dressing as a Mousekateer at school. I used to watch re-runs of the original black and white TV show when I was a kid and I have always wanted my own Mickey Mouse hat complete with red satin bow on top. The leather skirt was the very last they had at Freepeople.com. It was a size 0 and miraculously fit perfectly. Thank you, Maria at SewMaria Boutique for giving me pointers on how to attach the letters to my sweater (dry iron – no steam). It was scary because the spare top I had is cashmere and that turtleneck is far too itchy! I was praying to not mess up, lol, and yes, it all worked out.
Panreddy sweater, Free People skirt, Mia shoes
Lately, I’ve been living by the mantra “everything is always working out for me.” My mom even had three Mickey Mouse dolls to choose from, which would seem so random, but then again, she has everything. Like you could ask her to produce a yo-yo circa 1972 and it just magically appears inside the kitchen junk drawer. Nothing is really a coincidence. Life is truly a dream. Living a lucid dream.

I was there last Friday night for their “Black Masquerade” bash, my first Halloween party of the season. So fun!
OMG, I love, love, LOVE Halloween! I dressed as a prom queen, a dark angel, a lion tamer, the Mona Lisa and Hermione Granger. It started on October 20th – I chaperoned the school dance. The following Wednesday there was a costume party at the Dinosaur BBQ in downtown Syracuse; Saturday it was a house karaoke party and on Halloween, I did a day and night thing – school then costuming at Notch 8 in Jamesville. Why don’t we do this all year long? Halloween is just the most creative holiday. It is the best! So fun….
